This workshop is great for complete beginners or anyone wanting to build confidence on the pottery wheel. Learn the fundemantals of throwing on the wheel in a relaxed and supportive setting.
In this 2.5-hour introductory class, you'll get:
A quick overview of the process — from soft clay to finished ceramic piece
The basics of centering and shaping the clay on the pottery wheel
Hands-on guidance to help you create your first cup or bowl
Your class includes;
All materials and the tools needed for throwing
Firing and glazing up to 3 pieces
A guided, small group pottery experience - max. 2 participants
Good to know;
The class will be held in English
You’ll be able to choose one of the studio glazes and I’ll glaze your pieces for you
Your pieces will be ready to pick up about 4 weeks later after the course (drying, glazing and kiln firings)
