This course is designed for those who want to go beyond the basics and experience the full process of creating ceramics on the pottery wheel. It’s the perfect start for curious beginners looking for a more in-depth experience.
Over the 3 sessions (total of 6.5 hours), you’ll learn:
Throwing (Session 1 - duration 2.5 hours) : Learn the basics of centering and shaping clay on the pottery wheel
Trimming (Session 2 - duration 2 hours) : How to refine and clean up your forms once they’ve firmed up
*This session is usually scheduled for following day after throwing. Please keep this in mind when booking.
Glazing (Session 3 - duration 2 hours): How to apply studio glazes and add color to your work
*Glazing will be scheduled after the first kiln firing (bisque firing), usually about 10 days after trimming.

All materials, tools, and kiln firings
Up to 3 finished ceramic pieces
Small group guidance (max. 2 participants)
Flexible scheduling for trimming and glazing appointments
Good to know:
The course is held in English
Final pieces will be ready for pickup around 4 weeks after your last session
